1 – AMER FORT, JAIPUR
Amer fort or Amber fort, located in Amer, Jaipur is one of the most splendid fort in our List of the Forts of Rajasthan. Located over the hilly terrain of Amer, this fort of Rajasthan attracts tourists from all over the world throughout the year. Known for its great style of art and architecture, this fort has its own lake, LAKE MAOTA, which is the only source of supply to the fort. The Chittorgarh Fort or the Chittod Fort or Rajasthan, is also the UNESCO world heritage site. Situated in Chittorgarh, This iconic fort of Rajasthan, is located over a 180 m high hill. 3 – BHANGARH FORT, ALWAR
The Bhangarh fort in ALWAR was built around 16th century. This fort was built during the rule of BHAGWANT DAS as the residence of his second son Madho singh. As per the sources , it is also the most HAUNTED forts of Rajasthan. Legends say that it had been cursed by a hermit named GURU BALU NATH. 4 – MEHRANGARH FORT, JODHPUR
Mehrangarh fort , located in Jodhpur is one among the historical forts of Rajasthan. Located on a hilltop, this heritage fort was built by a Rajput ruler RAO JODHA. The fort has 7 gates, with main entrance named as JAI POL. The fort houses numerous sight seeing places such as Chamunda Mataji Temple, A Museum, Rao jodha desert rock park. This fort also holds some of the most vibrant and enthusiastic festivals such as the World Sacred Spirit Festival and Rajasthan International Folk Festival.
